Motherhood is the ultimate paradox.

Being tired and not wanting to miss a thing. Wanting time to yourself and missing them when you’re away. Mourning the loss of your pre-baby body and being proud of what your body could do. Being sure of what they need and also having so many questions. Grieving the stages as they fly by and enjoying watching them grow and learn. Needing them to be more independent and being sad when they no longer need you for certain things. Being overwhelmed by the amount of toys/clothes they have and always buying them something because they just simply need it. Being bewildered by their ability to drive you to the edge of your sanity and loving them beyond your own comprehension.

Motherhood is the ultimate paradox.
